The National Committee of Ukraine for Theoretical and Applied Mechanics is Ukraine’s official representative organization in the International Union of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics (IUTAM).
About IUTAM
IUTAM is an international scientific organization bringing together national organizations and researchers in theoretical and applied mechanics. It organizes the International Congresses of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics (ICTAM), specialized symposia, and other scientific activities.
Ukraine in IUTAM
Ukraine joined IUTAM as an independent member state in 1992. Representation through the National Committee enables the Ukrainian mechanics community to participate in international research coordination, the work of IUTAM bodies, and preparation of international scientific events.
The Committee also informs Ukrainian researchers about IUTAM programmes, calls, symposia, and other opportunities and supports broader participation of early-career researchers in the international professional community.
