The S.P. Timoshenko Institute of Mechanics of the NAS of Ukraine develops scientific, educational, and international cooperation with NAS of Ukraine research institutions, universities, and international research centres.

Institutional agreements support joint research, academic exchange, direct links between research units, and participation in international scientific events.
Joint research, exchanges of researchers, postgraduate students and students, direct cooperation between research units, exchange of scientific materials and information, and mutual participation in conferences, seminars, and workshops.
The agreement was concluded for five years and may be extended by mutual written consent.

Joint initiatives
The Institute participated in the English4Ukraine project, which provided staff members and students with free access to the Reallyenglish online learning platform for improving their English-language skills.
The contractual project period ended on 30 June 2026. Information on possible continuation of the cooperation is being clarified.
Completed agreements
The cooperation focused on practical training for students and postgraduate researchers, scientific consulting, innovation support, applied research, and specialist training.
The agreement expired on 31 December 2025.
Research infrastructure
These services support research and research training, but are not listed as scientific partnerships.
The Institute has institutional access to scientific information resources available through the Research4Life programme under the applicable licence.
The Institute uses the StrikePlagiarism system to support similarity checking of academic texts and academic integrity procedures.
