The National Committee of Ukraine for Theoretical and Applied Mechanics was a co-organizer of the International Scientific Conference Mechanics: Present and Prospects 2024, held on 8–10 October 2024 at the S.P. Timoshenko Institute of Mechanics of the NAS of Ukraine.
According to the Committee’s materials, more than 270 researchers from Ukraine and other countries participated. The conference provided a forum for presenting and discussing results across contemporary theoretical and applied mechanics and for strengthening professional cooperation among research groups.
