NCUTAM has prepared an analytical note on the status and development prospects of research in theoretical and applied mechanics in Ukraine and at the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, pursuant to the NAS Presidium's meeting of 24 June 2026 (Minutes No. 17).
In a letter prepared for the President of the NAS of Ukraine, Academician Anatolii Zahorodnii, NCUTAM Chair Academician Viacheslav Bogdanov requests consideration of a discussion of this issue at a Presidium meeting in late 2026 or early 2027.
The note reviews international developments, Ukraine's research capabilities, facilities and proposed scientific priorities, as well as institutional recommendations.
