Conferences · Announcements

Researchers are invited to submit abstracts to Mini-Symposium MS 28 at the 16th International Conference on Fracture (ICF16), to be held in Melbourne on 28 June–2 July 2027. The abstract deadline is 30 November 2026.

ICF16 Mini-Symposium MS 28 — Fracture Mechanics for Sustainable Structural Integrity

The 16th International Conference on Fracture (ICF16), one of the leading international forums in fracture mechanics, will be held in Melbourne, Australia, from 28 June to 2 July 2027. The ICF conference series is organized by the International Congress on Fracture and is held every four years.

ICF16 has accepted Mini-Symposium MS 28:

“Fracture Mechanics for Sustainable Structural Integrity: Analytical and Numerical Methods, Interface Phenomena, and Environmental Effects”.

The mini-symposium was initiated by a group of Ukrainian and German researchers, with participation of scientists from the S.P. Timoshenko Institute of Mechanics of the NAS of Ukraine.

MS 28 thematic sessions

  • Analytical and Numerical Methods in Fracture Mechanics;
  • Interface Fracture, Contact and Adhesion;
  • Environmental Effects, Structural Integrity and Life Extension.

Researchers working in fracture mechanics, strength and structural integrity of materials and structures, analytical and numerical methods, interface fracture, contact and adhesion, fatigue, durability, and environmental effects are invited to submit abstracts to MS 28.

Abstract submission deadline: 30 November 2026.

When submitting an abstract, please select MS 28 from the list of mini-symposiums.
