On 25 September 2026, Presidential Decree No. 952/2026, “On the Award of Lifetime State Scholarships to Outstanding Figures in Science,” awarded lifetime state scholarships to eight Ukrainian scientists. Three of them are our colleagues:
- Oleksandr P. Zhuk — Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Senior Researcher, laureate of the Borys Paton National Prize of Ukraine;
- Anatolii O. Kaminskyi — Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor, laureate of the State Prize of Ukraine in Science and Technology;
- Borys M. Kiforenko — Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor.
The staff of the S.P. Timoshenko Institute of Mechanics of the NAS of Ukraine sincerely congratulate Oleksandr Zhuk, Anatolii Kaminskyi, and Borys Kiforenko on the award of lifetime state scholarships.
Their many years of scientific work, substantial contribution to the development of mechanics and Ukrainian science, and dedication to research and scientific organization have received well-deserved recognition.
